Bug Bite and a Shiner

The day after we got back from my mom's house, Daniel woke up with a huge, swollen red dot on his cheek...a mosquito bite! Poor baby, with that sensitive skin! To top it off, the next morning he was riding Daddy like a horse and fell off...only to get a shiner on the other side! We better not take him in public or people might start to talk! ;-)

The Big 2-5

On June 6, I turned 25...a quarter of a century old...whoa! We went to my mom's house to celebrate, and she got my favorite kind of cake...Chocolate Doberge!!

Bouncing Tigers

There is a place in Baton Rouge where Daniel loves to go and play. It's called Bouncing Tigers. It is a huge inflatable playground...and they have two rooms--one for smaller kids and one for bigger kids. He loves to run around and play...especially in the ball pit.

Memorial Day Weekend

A little late, but here it is. We went up to Pineville for the weekendto relax and watch some UFC fights. We went over to Adam's brother's house and spent some time outside with Daniel. That boy loves being outside, no matter what he is doing!

After the weekend in Pineville, we spent actual Memorial Day at the Rabalais' house for a barbecue. We grilled steaks, burgers, and hot dogs, and had potato salad, chips, and yummy watermelon. In between cooking and eating, we took turns playing Rock Band. This is Daniel singing. Actually, in this picture he is kinda eating the microphone...but later on in the day, he actually did sing!

Pooh Bear Visits Barnes & Noble

Winnie-the-Pooh came to visit our local Barnes & Noble a while back. Daniel LOVES Pooh bear, so of cuorse, we had to go. He wasn't too interested in story time, but as soon as he caught a glimpse of that bear, he was hooked!
