Recovering from Christmas

I hope that everyone had a very merry Christmas! We were very busy. We spent the weekend in Pineville and did Christmas with Adam's family on Saturday night. As soon as dinner was over, all I heard was "Is it time to open presents yet?" repeated over and over by a 7 year old, a 3 year old, and a few adults :-P And if any of you have ever seen the show "The Family Guy", and even if you haven't, you can appreciate this...Family Guy. This was my nephew Noah all day Sunday!

We spent Christmas Eve afternoon at my grandmother's house, where Daniel came home with more presents than Adam and I combined! It was quite humorous because people have been telling me, "It isn't about you anymore...It's all about the baby!" How true it is! We spent Christmas Eve night at my mom's house. We got to spend time with family we hadn't seen in a while, and that was really fun. But I have to say that I am glad we stayed home on Christmas day. It was nice to relax and not do anything! Adam spent the day playing video games while I tried sorting through Santa's tornado that blew through our living room. And then today, unfortunately, it was back to work.

On a random note, Adam and I went to get library cards today...I know, I know, it's not that big of a deal, but it kinda makes staying in Baton Rouge seem more permanent now :-) Well, I hope you all had a great holiday and are recovering for me, I am looking forward to the next best thing--LSU in the National Championship!!! Geaux Tigers!!!

Sounds like a busy Christmas. But fun! I bet you had fun sorting through all that baby stuff!
