Basically it's no carbs for two weeks (to curb cravings) and then you add fresh fruits and whole grains in to your diet. It's just getting rid of processed foods. We eat a lot of veggies, dairy, lean protein. I'm more picky about my "carbs" now. I'm sure you can get the book at the library OR it's only, like, 7 bucks at Walmart;)

Good luck! I actually lost 30 pounds since September with NO working out. Really, exercise is great, but you've got to eat better too. We did the South Beach Diet. It's actually a lifestyle change. Like I said, I lost 30 and Aaron lost 20. Think about your end goal when things get tough. I'm a size 4 and 120 pounds now and it feels AWESOME! It feels so much better than the moment of happiness I'd have with chocolate. You can do it Erin!!!

Sounds like you have a live tree. I wouldn't have it any other way. I tried an artificial tree last year and finally concluded they're not really trees at all -- just a conglomeration of plastic and metal -- basically a huge ornament in your living room on which you hang other ornaments. Love the smell and overall feel of my live tree.

i have a love/hate relation with those contests.
i offer lots of options, but really don't care what you do to enter. i figure if you are going to sit there and jump through hoops (or at least pretend you did and leave a ton of comments about your tales) then more power (and entries) to you.
though lately i have not done giveaways for others...i don't find that it brings me the kind of readers that stick around most of the time. i want readers who (sometimes) care about what i have to say, not just a big # of "friends" b/c i had a contest for something you wanted, kwim?

Erin! I am the exact same way! Poor Mike! When he even tries to help, its not how I would do it so I get mad. If he says he will do it "in a minute", I just do it b/c I know it won't get done by the time I want it done. And I wait until the last minute on everything!!! I never even thought of myself as a hypocrite but I now I have a new perspective on things!
